The "OG Equipment (Oxygen Converter Gas Recovery System)" is a part-combustion type converter exhaust gas treatment system that boasts a domestic market share of 100% and has a track record of over 100 installations overseas. It is installed directly above the converter in the steel mill and is capable of cooling, dust collection, and recovery of converter exhaust gas (CO gas) with minimal combustion. 【Functions】 ■ The CO gas generated from the converter is suppressed to a combustion rate of 10% or less. ■ High-temperature (1,450℃) CO gas is cooled to approximately 600℃ to 1,000℃ using a cooler. ■ If the cooler is of the boiler type, the sensible heat of the high-temperature gas can be recovered as steam. ■ By introducing a contact-type boiler, the amount of steam recovery can be further increased. ■ High-concentration dust contained in the gas is 99.9% removed. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Equipment Implementation] Comprehensive Chemical Manufacturer

A case where steam reduction of 3,700 tons compared to the previous year and a reduction of over 90% in VCM emissions from adsorption equipment were achieved!

We would like to introduce a case study of our "Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Equipment" implemented at a comprehensive chemical manufacturer. The company had previously been using temperature swing adsorption (TSA) equipment with activated carbon to recover and treat exhaust gases containing vinyl chloride monomer. However, due to the high adsorption heat of activated carbon, they had to process a large volume of diluted gas, resulting in large equipment size and significant energy consumption due to the large amount of steam used during desorption. Additionally, they faced issues with equipment corrosion caused by chlorine. While addressing equipment corrosion, they explored alternative systems and determined that our product could be applied to their process, leading to full-scale operation starting in the 2011 fiscal year. They successfully reduced steam consumption by 3,700 tons compared to the previous year and achieved over a 90% reduction in VCM emissions from the adsorption equipment.
